About Our Designer
Born in Athens Domenika Konstantinidi is a Greek Architect who finished her studies at the university of Nottingham in England and Politecnico di Milano in Italy
Her architectural background, passion about art and design, love of traveling and interest in different cultures and philosophies are the life force that inspired her to create her line of handmade Jewelry “La Lupa Designs”.
Statement Jewelry
Through her statement Jewelry, transforming fragile materials such as bamboo paper or fluid materials such as silver into dynamic shapes, she wants to represent the Wild Woman, which in Native American mythology is the archetype that supports the liberation of all women’s psyche, creativity and spirituality.
The elegance of the dynamic forms in every creation is a tribute to the designers studies as an architect, harmoniously combined with the reflections of her personal spiritual research.
Inspiration Behind the Brands Name
In Native American mythology the She Wolf, in Italian called “La Lupa” represents the archetype that supports the liberation of women’s psyche, creativity and spirituality.
Our Brand Packaging
Our Box also inspired by the Origami technic is easily stored and folded in a pyramid when needed on the spot. A toothpick abstractly representing the japanese Kanzashi hairsticks holds the whole structure together. When removed the box opens like a lotus flower. This minimal and elegant packaging has been designed to emphasis the beauty of each of our jewelry pieces stored inside.
